Banksy

Banksy is a artist who identity is unknown, which create lots of speculation. He was born in Bristol, England (around 1974)

he is a streets artist who can create an impact with the art that he creates. he has create many powerful and controversial images. Banksy work can be seen all over the world. he s travels have included United States, Israel, Australia, Jamaica, England and Canada.

Banksy has created an art piece called the “Girl with a Balloon”. This was created in black, white and a little red, the little girl is black and white and the balloon is a red and heart shaped. He said that this is representing Hope, this is connects with people that have or are going through struggles. This was first seen in 2002, in the London's West Bank. There was over 70 prints that was created. In 2018, The original painting of the “Girl with a Balloon” was brought in auction, however, the second it was sold it started to be shredded, this was done by Banksy because it wasn't supposed to be sold at auction. This was shredded half way and this didn't not go to plan, he wanted it to be shredded all the way. The women who bought the painting kept it, shredded and all. The painting is said to have double in price because of the shredding.
