This design of hers is one I had taken interest in because when looking at this design I thought that my bags from a project that I’m doing for greeting cards would be good. To have the patterns doted around and having little colour. Just looking at this helps me understand where I am going wrong with my current work and where I need to go.

Laura Slater is a bespoken pattern, textile and print designer. Her work is inspired by drawings and manipulation of colours, shapes and patterns, which are eye-catching to the viewer.

About Me

My name is Jade, and I grew up within a big family. I'm like Nanny McPhee, always looking after my younger siblings, which I love but get no free time. If you watch my videos you will hear about them. My Main interest is Art, but Anime is a very close second, that is why I like to sprinkle it within my art. I love doing art with my hands, traditional but I also do digital art and I'm always learning new ways and techniques each day with both art styles. 

 

Fun Fact about me, I have a Graphic Art Design Degree which is why you will find my graphics work here. (and if you got this far… I had to use a “How to write about yourself” template for this because I didn't know where or what to start with.)
