Origami

Origami in its basic form is paper folding. Origami is most associated with the Japanese culture. This began after Buddhist monks carried paper to Japan during the 6th century. This was pasted on through parent to child. Usually making birds, fish, puppets, toys and geometric shapes. This was originally used for religious ceremonial purposes only because at the time paper was a high price. However now, origami may be used for relaxation or fun.
